Our Common Bond...

The Common Bond Quartet is a group of men who have committed their time and talents to using music to present the gospel of Jesus Christ..  Their desire to serve God provides the foundation for their ministry.  While they endeavor to encourage and uplift believers through word and song, their passion is to plant seeds in the hearts and minds of unbelievers as they seek to further the Kingdom.  During a concert, The Common Bond Quartet will be sure to have you not only smiling, tapping your toes and clapping your hands; but you will also likely be challenged and encouraged in your walk with Christ.   Worship led by The Common Bond Quartet will be an experience that we're sure will be a blessing long after the last note is sung.

"God Made A Way"

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I Will Make A Way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.  Isaiah 32:19   ESV

Common Bond To Be Featured on Gospel Greats

Riding high on the success of their recent Top 10 nomination for New Traditional Quartet by The Singing News Magazine, talented vocal group, Common Bond Quartet will be featured as the Spotlight Artist on The Gospel Greats radio program during the week of April 20. The program, hosted by multi-award winning radio personality, Paul Heil, will feature songs from the Quartet’s God Made A Way recording. The Gospel Greats is heard on over 200 radio stations across America, Canada, on Sirius/XM Satellite, in Europe, the Far East and on the internet worldwide each week through affiliates and on-demand.

Common Bond Quartet released their latest recording last September. Recorded at Gaither Studios and produced by multi-talented singer/songwriter Jason Clark of The Nelons, the recording has already spawn two popular radio releases. Shout, Brother, Shout, the debut single, reached the Top 80 in both The Singing News and Christian Voice radio airplay charts. Additionally, the second single from the recording, I Do, I Do, I Love My Jesus, which was released to radio in February, is already receiving airplay at stations nationwide. The entire recording is filled with rich, four-part harmony, showcasing the group’s unique style and versatility.

Common Bond Quartet is in the midst of busy Spring touring schedule, with a select number of events honoring Gospel Music legend, Jim Hill. Additonal events honoring Hill, the witer of many classics, including What A Day That Will Be, are scheduled for later this Spring and Summer, as well as in the Fall.

CBQ Hits the Charts and says, "Thank you"!

While we know that the 'meat' of our ministry is out there in the churches, as we share and sing about Jesus, we also know that so many of you, across the country, are also listening to Christian, and, in particular, Southern Gospel Radio Stations. So, we are thrilled at the reception that our two latest releases have been getting. In August, we released the single: "God Made A Way." Just last month, that song charted on both the Singing News Magazine and Christian Voice Magazine Charts! Just this week we heard that our latest release: "I Do, I Do, I Love My Jesus" is also doing very well out there on the air waves. So...we just gotta say...Thank you, Thank you, Thank you--to the DJ's for playing our songs, and to you, the listeners for requesting our music!

    • Since my last msg I have been blessed to be a part of two more "Southern Gospel Gatherings". I can't begin to tell everyone what a wonderful experience this is. It's not only a time of great southern gospel music, but a sweet time of worship with some very special friends. Of course COMMON BOND is our favorite! They continue to wow us with their strength and harmony! Each one of them are loving Christian men whom we have come to love dearly. I guess we are their official "grouppies"! Go see them if you have the opportunity. You won't be sorry!

    • We had the privilege of seeing Common Bond at the Church of God in Morehead, KY at the Southern Gospel Gathering. They were the best I've ever heard them! Absolutely wonderful! All the groups were great, but I'm a little partial to Bryan Stevenson! Guess it's because we used to sing in a quartet together! Common Bond is "improving with age"! Thank God for giving us His Message in song. We love you Common Bond!

    • Last nights concert at Kolas was the kind of southern gospel concert that lingers in your heart. The guys were as warm hearted and friendly as they were talented and inspiring, and they presented a clear Gospel of salvation by Grace thru Faith. We didn't only hear an awesome concert but everyone in Northwest Indiana made four new friends. We pray the Good Lord blesses us with a return visit some day. We could use another blessing like last night again.

    • Bus is fueled and awaits departure at 8 am Saturday. CBQ is headed to Highland IN. Join us at Kolas Christian Bookstore. 6:30 pm
